Peppermill… this place had me loving Indian food all over again! With its location in Festival City there are chances you could miss it. But I plead you’ll, do yourself a favour and consciously go eat here.
The restaurant area is pretty huge, divided into sections. Choose a table that you are most comfortable and the food will take you on a magical journey. The interiors are tastefully set up.
The staff are courteous, knowledgeable and give you some good suggestions.
We ordered a couple of items.
Kalimpong Chicken Shuijao: Chicken dumplings with burnt chilly & celery sauce from the China-Sikkim border. OUTSTANDING! The sauce was lip-smacking! So freakin’ good!
Tandoori Korma Champ: Lamb Chops served atop korma jus. Lamb was succulent and the jus perfectly complimented.
Kadhai Chicken: Stir-fried tandoori chicken with bell peppers. Pretty flavourful and goes well with some Garlic Naan.
Mutton Biryani: So. Good. The biryani is very moist (unlike some places that make it so dry!). Full of flavour. The mutton was beautifully cooked.
They have an array of Mocktails as well, so do give them a try.
Will I return? Without a doubt! Infact cannot wait till my next visit.
